Savannah O’Berry, LPC

I believe therapy works best when you have space to show up as you are—without needing to perform, filter yourself, or find the “right” words. My approach is warm, genuine, and collaborative, with a focus on helping you better understand yourself, navigate life’s challenges, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

I’m proud to call Mobile home and to serve the community where I’m raising my own family. My work is shaped by curiosity, compassion, continued learning, and a deep respect for the unique experiences each person brings into the therapy room.

Purpose

S. O’Berry Solutions was created to offer a space where people can feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported—not judged, rushed, or reduced to a diagnosis. Therapy can be a place to work through difficult experiences, make sense of patterns that no longer serve you, strengthen relationships, build confidence, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost somewhere along the way.

My goal is to provide therapy that feels both meaningful and practical. I want the work we do together to extend beyond the therapy room, helping you develop greater self-awareness, healthier ways of coping, and tools you can actually use in everyday life. Whether you are navigating a major transition, carrying something you have been holding for years, or simply realizing that life could feel better than it does right now, you deserve a place where you can explore what comes next with support, curiosity, and compassion.

Professional Life

My professional experience has given me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of levels of care. After earning my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I began my career providing therapy to children experiencing acute mental health crises in an inpatient setting. I later transitioned into school-based counseling, providing individualized mental health support to students and families.

My work then expanded into community-based care, including outpatient commitment services with adults living with serious mental illness. Working across inpatient, school-based, community, and outpatient settings has shaped my belief that effective therapy begins with understanding the whole person—not simply a diagnosis, symptom, or circumstance.

For the past three years, I have also worked in private practice, where I have been able to support clients through a wide range of life experiences and mental health concerns. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, with specialized training in child and adolescent mental health and grief and bereavement. I am also particularly passionate about perinatal mental health and supporting women through the emotional, relational, and identity changes that can accompany pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.

A growth mindset remains central to my work. I believe people are capable of developing new ways of coping, understanding themselves more deeply, strengthening relationships, and adapting to change without losing the parts of themselves that matter most.

Therapy also does not exist separately from the values, culture, relationships, or beliefs that shape our lives. When spirituality, faith, identity, family, or other personal values are meaningful to a client, there is room for those parts of their experience in our work together. My role is not to tell you what your life should look like, but to help you better understand yourself and move toward the life you want to create.

Personal Life

Family has always been an important part of who I am. I grew up in a military family and spent much of my childhood moving from place to place before eventually putting down roots in Mobile. Being surrounded by strong, hardworking, and deeply caring people taught me the importance of showing up for the people we love, finding connection wherever we are, and creating a sense of home that goes beyond a particular place.

My husband and I met in college and have spent the years since growing alongside one another, building careers, pursuing our individual passions, and creating a life together. Our family has grown to include three wonderfully energetic boys who keep our home equal parts loving, loud, imaginative, and wonderfully chaotic.

Motherhood is one of the greatest joys of my life and has continually reminded me just how differently each person experiences and interacts with the world. I love watching my children discover who they are and encouraging their curiosity, creativity, and individuality. Within our home, we strive to create an environment where our children feel loved, accepted, supported, and free to grow into themselves—and those values deeply influence the way I see people both personally and professionally.
